Volunteering for the Festival
Volunteers are the foundation of our festival, without them we would not be the success we are today!
For the modest commitment of 12 festival hours, you get to join our stellar crew and enjoy the following perks.
Volunteer perks include; a weekend pass, free camping, free parking, light meals and snacks in the awesome volunteer centre, a chance to win some great stuff from our Volunteer Appreciation crew, and exclusive access to our Volunteer Party held right after teardown on the Sunday of festival weekend!

Performing at the Festival
If you are a performer who wishes to be considered for the 2026 Islands Folk Festival, happening July 24, 25, 26, please send your EPK to: artisticdirector@cowichanfolkguild.ca. Due to a large number of applications, we are unable to respond to all submissions and inquiries. We will be in contact if you are under consideration. Thank you for your interest!
