Go Green

Notice To Festival Patrons:

NO GLASS OR BOTTLES ALLOWED ON SITE.  ANIMALS GRAZE THESE FIELDS.

Please scour the fields – especially the Parking Areas - for discarded bottles and broken glass.

THANK YOU.

The Islands Folk Festival strives to be low impact and kind to the earth when it comes to how we deal with waste, water and land-use at the Festival. Our comprehensive waste diversion project and our water bottle filling initiative are just 2 examples of this.

Help us to walk lightly on the planet this summer. Bring a water bottle, consider wrapping and packaging, car pool with friends, bring your bike and offer us your ideas about how our festival can ‘think green’.
